This nifty tool automatically adds voiceovers in different languages to videos focused on knowledge and information, broadening their global reach.
The auto-dubbing magic works by translating English videos into languages like French, German, Hindi, Italian, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, and Portuguese. Conversely, videos originally in these languages will receive an English dub. This means creators can effortlessly connect with audiences worldwide, without the hassle of manual translation.
For those lucky enough to have access, AI-dubbed videos are generated automatically upon upload. Creators can preview these dubs before they go live and have the option to unpublish or delete them if needed. While the current AI voices might sound a bit robotic, YouTube promises improvements in capturing the original speaker’s tone and emotion in future updates.
